Sound waves emitted from the midwoofer placed at the bottom are reflected by a concave reflector (green) and focused at the center of a pair of exponential curve (yellow and red) apertures. Sound waves is converted to sound pressure while traveling from the convergence point to the apex of the exponential curves. This conversion causes the sound waves to dissipate. As a result, the speaker driver no longer receives reflected sound waves from inside the speaker box, resulting in a speaker with extremely low distortion, high sound quality, high resolution, and low cost (only three additional boards are needed inside).

Sound waves emitted internally from the speaker driver are reflected downward by the “concave reflector (green)” and focused at the center of the aperture of a pair of exponential curves (yellow and vermilion). As the sound wave travels “downward” from the focal point through the exponential curves, it is converted into sound pressure. This conversion causes the sound waves to dissipate. The speaker driver no longer reflects sound waves from inside the speaker box, resulting in a high quality, high resolution, low cost woofer with extremely low distortion (only 3 additional boards are needed inside).
